Convert Videos Format With VLC Media Player

VLC, The Free And Open Source Media Player, is Great at Playing Media Of the Even The Most Obscure Formats. However, That is Not All it Can Do. It Can Be Used To Convert Videos Format. Converting Videos in VLC Media Player is Pretty Fast.

Steps to Follow :-

Step 1. Open VLC Media Player.

Step 2. Click On Media in The Menu Bar.

Step 3. In the Dropdown Menu, Click On Convert / Save or Simply Press Ctrl+R to Open Media Options.

Step 4. Click On The Add Button to Load the Video Whose Video Format You Want to Change.

Step 5. In that Dialog Box, Click on Browser to Select the Destination. (Where Your Converted Will Be Placed.)

Step 6. In This Profile Selection Option, Select From A Pre-Configured Profile Of the Output or Customize it By Clicking On The Settings Icon. You Can Select Any Format From Encapsulation And Then Click On Save.

Step 7. Click On Start. The Conversion Will Begin.

Step 8. VLC Media Player's Progress Bar Will Show the Progress.

Tip : Do Not Close The Player When it is Converting Videos As it will result in Output Video Getting Corrupted.
